Payment
Payment in full is required before the dispatch of all orders. A 50% deposit is necessary to secure stock for forward orders placed more than one week in advance. Payments can be made via credit card, direct deposit and Pay Pal.
Pricing
Custom Orders
A 100% deposit is required to commence work on custom orders. Retreat Collection is not responsible for delays caused by late payment.
Wholesale Pricing
Wholesale prices are available upon request if you do not have a registered login to our wholesale website.
International Customers
Prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and exclude local freight costs. International customers may be exempt from Australian GST and should check local regulations for claiming exemptions.
General Pricing Information
Prices are subject to change without notice. For wholesale customers, prices are exclusive of GST, which will be itemised separately on invoices for Australian customers. Freight costs are calculated upon order confirmation.
Pre-Orders
A 50% deposit is required to secure stock for all pre-orders. If the deposit is not received and stock becomes unavailable, the order will be allocated to the next shipment. Retreat Collection does not guarantee stock availability without deposit payments. Refunds for change of mind are not provided unless the items are faulty, and this is at Retreat Collection’s discretion. Delays due to late payment are the customer’s responsibility.
Custom Orders
Full payment (100%) is required to commence work on custom-made or special orders. Refunds for change of mind are not offered unless the items are faulty, as determined at Retreat Collection’s discretion. Delays due to late payment are the customer’s responsibility.
Deliveries
Delivery fees and times vary depending on the size, weight, and destination of your order. Delivery charges will be displayed during the checkout process before payment and included in your total order price. Changes to the delivery address or time after placing an order may incur additional charges.
Delivery estimates provided at checkout are for front-door delivery to ground-floor addresses. Requests for delivery beyond this point must be approved before placing an order and may incur additional costs, subject to courier availability. Retreat Collection delivers Australia-wide using various carriers based on the size of your order and location. International delivery is also available; please contact us for a freight quote.
Pickups
Local Pickups
Local pickups are available from our collection point in the northern suburbs. The exact address and window for pickup will be provided prior to collection. Pickups will only be held for a maximum of 10 working days.
Damages
Products are inspected before dispatch to ensure they leave our warehouse in good condition. Customers should inspect deliveries immediately upon arrival and report damages within 48 hours. Any damages noted must be documented on the delivery paperwork. Retreat Collection is not liable for transport-related damages but will assist with insurance claims, repairs, or replacements as appropriate. Claims must include photographs of damaged products and packaging, and all broken parts must be retained and returned. Claims made after 48 hours will not be accepted.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Retreat Collection does not offer refunds for delays on pre-orders caused by external factors, international freight issues, or government restrictions. Refunds for change of mind are not available; customers should carefully consider measurements and dimensions before purchasing. Exchanges may be authorised at Retreat Collection’s discretion, with additional transport fees applicable.
Faulty or damaged products may be returned with prior authorisation. Returns must be made within 7 days of receiving the goods. Sale items are excluded from the Returns and Exchange Policy. Retreat Collection reserves the right to refuse returns for items damaged through improper use. Refunds for orders cancelled before dispatch will exclude non-refundable Afterpay and Shopify fees.
Limited Warranty
Retreat Collection offers a one-year limited warranty from the date of sale on invoices against manufacturing defects, determined at Retreat Collection’s discretion.
Disclaimer
Retreat Collection products are made from natural materials using handcrafted techniques in rural African villages. Variations in shape, colour, texture, and finish are considered part of their unique characteristics. Minor imperfections, including frays, marks, or natural timber defects, are not considered faults.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Retreat Collection, its affiliates, and employees from any claims or demands arising from your breach of these Terms or any violation of laws or third-party rights.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, it will be severed without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and any policies referenced constitute the entire agreement between you and Retreat Collection, superseding any prior agreements. Ambiguities in interpretation shall not be construed against Retreat Collection.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
Changes to Terms
The most current version of these Terms is available on our website. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
